RED CABBAGE

- 50 lbs shredded red cabbage 
- 14 apples ( peeled & 1/4 )
- Small handful of salt
- Small handful of Aromat 
- A few bay leaves
- 10 whole clloves
- Handful of Marjoram 
- 2 fine chopped onion
- 9 or 10 cups of golden yellow sugar
- 10 to 13 cups of water
- When cabbage is cooked add 1 1/2 litres of apple cider vinegar
